We share this view and would like to warmly invite you to visit us in in the tiny transilvanian village Cund!

Experience the authentic hospitality of a transilvanian village, find a „home away from home“ in lovingly restored and tastefully furnished old farmhouses set in a breathtaking natural environment and find out more about he exciting and diverse history and culture of this country!

Our family is living and working mostly in Cund since 1994, and three years ago we started restoring dilapidated old farmhouses and turning them into holiday homes for visitors. We are currently restoring two connecting farmhouses and after completion in April 2009 those will provide further accommodation for up to 13 persons in five apartments. We have already completed one apartment and our small restaurant, which will officially open in March 2009, at the back of this complex.

We also offer a wide range of special recreational activities: our well educated riding horse offer beginners and experienced horseman alike an excellent means of exploring the beautiful fields, valleys, forests and hills on a horseback! Should you be interested in traditional crafts, our master carpenter, blacksmith or weavers would love to welcome you in their workshops and for those interested in painting / sketching, the German artist Theobald Fuchs is offering art classes. We also offer cycling tours in Transilvania with our brand new quality touring bikes (Kreidler St. Tropez - Made in Germany). We have several day trips planned out for you or can arrange to have your luggage transported on longer trips. As a touroperator (from January 2009) we can also create special and tailor-made individual itinearies for you to explore all of Romania!

For years we have dedicated ourselves to the preservation of this village, which is very special to us - a place, where traditional and natural concepts are transparent and where there is room for reflection & relaxation. The encounters between guests and local community is not only a cultural enrichment (for both..) it also constitutes a true contribution to the development of this village. Sensitive rural tourism offers a perspective for the young people to remain in their home communities and creates qualified workplaces. In addition to this, we are actively involved though our registered charity to further the education of children and preserving the rich gifts of nature.
