The taste of the seasons
Your breakfast egg comes from local chickens, the generous truffle shavings on top of it have grown in the neighboring forest, the apricot jam is of course home-made, and the goats cheese exudes the aroma of wild herbs. The excellent organic produce grown in our very own garden or from friendly farmers in the region provide the inspiration for our cuisine that is always fresh and seasonal.
At Valea Verde Resort Jonas Schäfer and his team will indulge you every day of your stay with a rich breakfast buffet and, should you so wish, a light lunch and a delicious three, five or seven-course dinner, accompanied by an exquisite selection of our regional and international wines.
We also offer great privat dining options in our Pavilion or in the Valea Verde Lounge and for groups from two to eighty guests and most happy to also create very special twelve course menus upon request.
Rising to the challenge to pair an adequate course with an outstanding wine (or vice versa), is an immense pleasure for us!
However, not only our international guests love the culinary creations made by our team – our cuisine has also been recognised by the Chaine de Rotisseurs and the Valea Verde was awarded the prestigious blazon in 2011 for special achievements and excellent service. Only a handful restaurants do hold this special award Romania.
